Between Poles is the first portuguese illustration and drawing exhibition of Magnética Magazine.

If you’re interested in showing your talent, get inspiration from the concept "Between Poles" send your illustration or drawing. You might become one of the selected for the Collective Exhibition in May 2010 and to undergo an artistic tour all around the country.

Everyone who’s interested in participating can do so, even if one is not directly connected to the illustrating or drawing field. All ages are welcome.

Objective

Send your drawings or illustrations to the contest. The illustration and/or drawing shall be carried out following the concept "Between Poles" and each participant is allowed to interpret it in his/her own way.

Prizes

You might become one of the selected for the Collective Exhibition in May 2010 and to undergo an artistic tour all around Portugal.

Rules

  • Each participant may send up to three illustrations/drawings.
  • The illustration and/or drawing shall be carried out following the concept "Between Poles" and each participant is allowed to interpret it in his/her own way.
  • All illustrations and/or must be original, unpublished works and not submitted to other competitions. Also, they must not have images taken from the Internet, books, magazines, catalogues, and so on, and if so, it’s the author’s own responsibility.
  • Illustrations and drawings will be assessed according to concept interpretation and creativity.
  • The selected works must be sent via mail (address to be announced) with maximum size of 50cm x 70cm. Within this format, every dimension is possible.
  • All works must be developed or printed on matte paper with 150gr and up, and pressed on 3mm cardboard.
  • No illustrations and/or drawings made by more than one person will be allowed.
  • The work selection will be carried out by Bruno Pereira, Creative Director of Magnética Magazine, Sandro Resende, plastic artist and responsible for P28 (Pavilhão 28), and the representative of Fundación Pampero in Portugal.
  • All works are copyrighted and Magnética Magazine may use them only for promotional purposes and all the necessary communication activities regarding the exhibition.

How to enter?

All illustrations and drawings must be sent until 15 March 2010 to design [at] magneticamagazine.com (please replace [at] with @) in .JPG with maximum size of 1Mb each.
