Call for Entry: Magmart International Videoart Festival VII

Magmart International Videoart Festival is now calling for entries for its seventh edition. This call is open to all international video artists. The first edition of Magmart happened in 2005 and since then, this festival is held annually in Naples, Italy.

Video artworks no longer that 10 minutes, fully realized with digital technology, can be submitted.

After the end of this call, Magmart will select 30 video artworks that will become part of the seventh edition of the festival.

Call for Entries: BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year 2012

Now in its fourth year, the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year competition invites UK and international artists to show their best wildlife artworks and compete for unique prizes. BBC Wildlife Magazine will make sure that the Wildlife Artist of the Year 2012 takes part in a 10-day painting safari in Botswana, worth £3,450!

Artworks are accepted in 13 different categories and may feature 2D works (not generated on a computer) of birds, mammals, waterlife, invertebrates and plants.

Between 12 - 19 May 2012, violin musicians from over 40 countries are invited in Bucharest, to compete for €10.000 prizes.

The Jeunesses competition has been organized each year, since 1993, for several alternative disciplines – piano, violin, clarinet, flute, composition and canto. Its main goal is to discover, reward and promote the values of the new classical music generation, in order to support young musicians in building a successful career.
