After last year's highly successful competitions, Realtime Technology (RTT) would like to announce the RTT Student Awards 2012.
RTT is looking to award the most creative minds in the fields of software science and design with two student competitions: RTT Emerging Technology and RTT Funky Visualization.
Awards will be presented at the annual RTT visualization event, RTT Excite, which will be held in Munich, Germany from 26-27 April 2012. Winners will be invited to the event.

The 2012 Durban International Film Festival is calling for feature, short and documentary films.
The festival will present over 200 screenings of films from around the world, with a special focus on films from South African and Africa. Screenings will take place throughout Durban including township areas where cinemas are non-existent.
The 33rd Durban International Film Festival will take place from 19 to 29 July 2012.

London Transport Museum, in partnership with the Association of Illustrators (AOI), is delighted to announce that submissions are now welcome for the 2012 Serco Prize for Illustration.
This year the theme is Secret London. Entrants are asked to create an illustration that explores a hidden side to the city. The aim of the competition is to attract artwork for display that is colourful, inspiring and celebrates a vibrant, multi-layered London.
