The European Fashion Award FASH is an annual competition held by the Stiftung der Deutschen Bekleidungsindustrie (German Fashion Industry Foundation – SDBI) since 2005. Thanks to its tradition, fairness, and authentic industry focus, challenging tasks, international jury and complex selection process to determine the winners from the entered fashions, its refined documentation, as well as the subsequent success of former award winners, FASH has become one of the most important sponsorship awards for fashion design students. The foundation’s goal is to foster talented fashion students.

The European Fashion Award FASH 2012, combined with the Special Award Gore Bike Wear, is looking for sportswear for competitive, endurance or fitness sports combining function and fashion in a groundbreaking design.

European Architectural Photography Prize 2011

architekturbild, the European Architectural Photography Prize, has been awarded on a two-yearly basis since 1995. Call for entries for the 2011 European Architectural Photography Prize is open.

Since 2003, the prize has been awarded by architekturbild e.v., a non-profit organization, and since 2008 in cooperation with the German Architecture Museum, Frankfurt.

In 2011, first prize of 4000 Euro and two commendations (1000 Euro each) will be awarded on a special ceremony held at the German Architecture Museum (DAM) in Frankfurt.

Animated Dreams, the oldest and biggest Estonian animation film festival, offers Estonian animators a chance to display the state of their art as well as promotes high-quality international animation culture.

13th Animation Film Festival Animated Dreams runs from 16 to 20 November, 2011 and consists of an International competition programme of short and medium-length animated films as well as a non-competitive informative programmes, retrospectives and special presentations.

The Revelation Perth International Film Festival is calling for entries for its 2011 festival program. The festival is driven by works that explore style, content and form. Since 1990, the event has developed from a range of alternative and independent screen culture activities and experiments to what is regarded as one of Australia's most unique annual screen activities.

Revelation is organised by filmmakers and film lovers so it welcomes the lowest of the low-fi to well resourced features, documentaries, experimental works and animations.
