The 2011 Art Kudos Competition

Entries are now being accepted for the 2011 Art Kudos online competition. Art Kudos is an annual international juried competition that serves to recognize and honor excellence in the visual arts.

Artists who are selected as finalists benefit from world-wide exposure in a year-long online exhibition and have the opportunity to win cash awards for their exemplary work. This year, a total of $4,400 will be awarded.

The competition is open to artists anywhere in the world, 18 years of age or older.

Vancouver Film School (VFS), Canada’s premier entertainment arts institution and one of the most distinguished worldwide, is pleased to announce its partnership with SoundCloud, the world’s leading social sound platform, to offer a full-tuition scholarship for its one-year Sound Design for Visual Media program. Contestants will be stretched to create a brand new soundscape based on five different categories describing entities not normally associated with sound.
