The Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival (SFFSFF) promotes and encourages an awareness, appreciation and understanding of the art of science fiction and fantasy cinema.

The sixth annual Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film festival, to be presented at the Cinerama Theatre in Seattle, Washington, brings together industry professionals in both filmmaking and the genre of science fiction and fantasy to encourage and support new, creative additions to science fiction and fantasy cinema arts.

Its mandate is to create a forum for creative artistry in science fiction and fantasy film and recognize the most outstanding short films produced.

Fest Anča 2010 – 3rd International Animation Festival

The third edition of the International "Fest Anča" Animation Festival, established by the ANČA civic association, will be held on 30 July - 1 August, 2010 at the Stanica Žilina-Záriečie cultural centre in Žilina, Slovakia.

Send your short animated films that are not longer than 30 minutes and have been completed between 2008 - 2010.

An international five-member jury will grant 3 Anča awards to the best animations consisting of a trophy and cash prize.

PAVE the Way 3D Design Challenge

PAVE the Way, a 3D Design Challenge is an exciting opportunity available for students to showcase their work at a major industry event, GlobalShop 2011. College students who are enrolled in accredited store design, interior design, visual merchandising, and industrial design programs are invited to design a 3D floor fixture for this competition, which is sponsored and presented by B&N Industries.

Finalists will then work with B&N Industries to produce a prototype of their design for display at GlobalShop 2011. GlobalShop 2011 will be held in Las Vegas, 28-30 March 2011, at the Sands Expo & Convention Center.

The 2010 Susquehanna International Fine Art Competition

Welcome to the 2010 Susquehanna International Fine Art Competition! This year's theme is "River Art." All entries must contain a river, real or imagined, in their composition.

$600 in cash prizes will be awarded - prizes in each category and overall. The top ten entries in each category will be included in the book "River Art" to be published in January, 2011.

All selected entries will have an opportunity to exhibit their work at West Shore Gallery in Wormleysburg, PA from 4 February to 2 March, 2011.
