The 2011 season of the Prescott Film Festival is well under way with great films screening at the historic 900 seat Hendrix Auditorium on the campus of Prescott Mile High Middle School!
The Prescott Film Festival & Series is dedicated to supporting independent films and filmmakers by featuring them through the festival & monthly series while enhancing the cultural and economic welfare of the quad-city area.

HUGO Create is back with another creative challenge. This one's quite different from the previous contests. Instead of designing posters with the HUGO Boss bottle, for the Game Challenge, HUGO Create is asking you to create a level for the HUGO Create Game.
HUGO Create - The Game is a free iPhone app, a unique fusion of sound and motion, that you can download and use for your creations.
In this challenge, ten winners will be selected randomly and each will receive $500 cash.

It's time for another edition of the Celeste Prize. Get your entries prepared for the 3rd Celeste Prize!
Painting, photography, digital graphic entries, videos, animations, sculptures, live media and performances are all being considered for the Celeste Prize. The Celeste Prize has been established to promote international contemporary art in the widest possible sense.
There will be a final art exhibition with 50 artworks, a final catalogue of circa 150 pages with circa 120 illustrated works of art and critical texts, as well as 5 prize awards and benefits totaling €30,000.

Back for 2011, the Web Font Awards is the ceremony celebrating the newfound typographic freedom that Web designers are experiencing across the globe. The competition recognizes designers and websites that are putting this emerging technology to greatest use.
Aimed at promoting Web font awareness and adoption, the Web Font Awards is open to eligible users of any Web font service or technology that uses an @font-face declaration.
The competition culminates with a live award ceremony at the Future of Web Design conference, to be held 7–9 November, in New York City.

Another branded competition is currently open for entries on jovoto. "The PENNY Plot" is a contest about telling a story that can fit the brand of one of Germany’s biggest discount supermarkets. PENNY is searching for new, creative stories, which build up to and follow up the “First to PENNY” claim.
This is a huge contest on jovoto as it combines telling a story for radio, TV or both. It's open to everyone!
The overall community prize of this contest includes €15,000, €3,000 of which will be awarded to the story that wins the first place.

It's time for another challenging contest on jovoto. This time the main task is to design restaurant interior.
Marriott International wants designers to re-imagine what a hotel restaurant concept could look like. They want to break through traditional approaches and introduce a highly dynamic design that can physically transform within a single restaurant space.
Unlike most stand alone restaurants, hotel restaurants need to be flexible enough to offer a variety of dining experiences including breakfast, lunch, dinner, private dining, cocktail happy hours, and even accommodate non-dining occasions such as private/small business meetings.
