The Women on the World International Cartoon Competition (WoW) is open to all women cartoonists worldwide over the age of 18 years. WoW is designed to offer women cartoon artists a unique opportunity to express themselves within the cartooning arena. Entries should convey a woman’s social comment on world issues today.

WoW is aimed at promoting women and women’s issues, cartooning generally and Australia’s only cartoon gallery – The Bunker Cartoon Gallery of Coffs Harbour.

Call for Entries “Landscapes” Juried Art Contest

Call for Entries: BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year 2012

Now in its fourth year, the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year competition invites UK and international artists to show their best wildlife artworks and compete for unique prizes. Artworks are accepted in 13 different categories and may feature 2D works (not generated on a computer) of birds, mammals, waterlife, invertebrates and plants.

29th Aydin Doğan International Cartoon Competition

The Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition is organized every year in Turkey by the Aydın Doğan Foundation. Entries are now being accepted for the 29th edition of the competition.

The Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition is acknowledged in the world as the Oscar of cartoons. The competition has been organized for 28 years. So far, more than 6500 artists from 128 countries have taken part in the competition. These figures are indicative of the scope and importance of the award.
