Salon Art Prize 2010

Since 2007, Matt Roberts Arts has produced an annual Salon exhibition, supporting 244 artists and photographers and receiving over 2800 visitors.

The Salon Art Prize incorporates Painting, Sculpture and Installation (including sound), and 2-D Media (which includes drawing, collage, printmaking etc). The exhibition will open on 7 October 2010.

Matt Roberts Arts expects to exhibit up to 100 artists in their gallery on Vyner Street in East London with one exhibitor winning the selectors' prize - £1000 and a solo exhibition in 2011.

2010 Art Kudos Competition

Art Kudos is an annual international juried competition that serves to recognize and honor excellence in the visual arts. Artists who are selected as finalists benefit from world-wide exposure in a year-long online exhibition and have the opportunity to win cash awards for their exemplary work.

A total of $4,500 will be awarded.

Celeste Prize 2010

The Celeste Prize has been established to promote international contemporary art in the widest possible sense. There will be a final art exhibition with 50 artworks, a final catalogue of circa 150 pages with circa 120 illustrated works of art and critical texts, as well as 6 prize awards totalling €40,000.

The exhibition of finalist works, voting and awards will take place at the Invisible Dog, New York City, USA, in December 2010.

Excellence in content, contemporary aesthetic, technique, and material is sought in the selection of works for the final exhibition.

National and International Workshop Program 2010 – Triangle Arts Association

The Triangle Artists' Workshop Program is an intense two-week studio session this fall for an international group of 25 - 30 professional visual artists. The workshop's mission is to create an environment designed to maximize exchange, stimulate new ideas and encourage experimentation.

The workshop culminates in an Open Studio exhibition, free and open to the general public. During the workshop, artists will receive organized studio visits from critics, writers and curators, and two organized panel discussions.

The National and International Workshop Program 2010 is open to all national and international applicants.
