2nd International DonkeyArtPrize – Contemporary Art Competition

Blindonkey Cultural Association announces the opening of the second edition of the DonkeyArtPrize; a competition aimed at promoting modern and contemporary Art, developing an international community of artistic talent and discovering brand new artists.

Each artist will be given the chance to expose their work in the DonkeyArtPrize circuit of events, and the winners will receive a cashprize award.

The prize has an extremely free theme and subject. It is divided into three sections: Painting, Digital Art and Video.

The 6th Bucharest International Jazz Competition

Bucharest International Jazz Competition, organized by jmEvents, brings an important contribution to the promotion and recognition of the new Romanian and international jazz values. The competition promises vivid music, creation and an enthusiastic audience by combining concerts, jam sessions and workshops.

Each edition gathered great musicians from over 20 countries in Europe and USA, “la crème de la crème” or musicians on the rise, who will present the Romanian audience the new jazz mainstream.

The 19th Jeunesses International Violin Competition

The most prestigious international competition for classical music, organized in Romania, Jeunesses competition, gets ready for its 19th edition.

Between 12 - 19 May 2012, violin musicians from over 40 countries are invited in Bucharest, to compete for €10.000 prizes.

The Jeunesses competition has been organized each year, since 1993, for several alternative disciplines – piano, violin, clarinet, flute, composition and canto. Its main goal is to discover, reward and promote the values of the new classical music generation, in order to support young musicians in building a successful career.

Throughout the course of the Focus Project, selected photographers will be prominently featured on the official website and will have a chance at life-changing awards, world-wide acclaim, a red-carpet New York City reception and more than $75,000 in awards to fund your passion: taking incredible photos.
