The Aperture Light Photo of the Year contest is open to both amateur and professional photographers of any nationality. Its aim is to reveal the most inspirational and innovative images.

Improvements have been made to this year's edition of the contest. Photographers can edit their contest entries any time after uploading the images. Also the contest rules have been clarified.

The Aperture Light is solely based on the fact that is to bring out the best from the rest.

Rules

  • The Aperture Light Photo of the Year contest is open to both amateur and professional photographers of any nationality.
  • Each member can upload one entry in Photo of the Year contest.
  • The size of the image file should not exceed more than 1MB.
  • Images must be saved as .jpg files at the highest possible quality setting (12 or Max in Photoshop).
  • Images should only treated with basic sharpening, cropping and removal of dust spots. Images should contain only the subject matter as originally seen through the viewfinder.
  • Photographs must have been taken from a digital camera.
  • Each entry does not contain any infringing, threatening, false, misleading, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, profane or nude content.

Entry fee

For uploading you images you have to pay a $10 entry fee. Entries fees will not be returned.
