Each year, Lions clubs around the world proudly sponsor the Lions International Peace Poster Contest in local schools and youth groups. This Contest encourages young people worldwide to artistically express their visions of peace. The theme of the 2010-11 Peace Poster Contest is “Vision of Peace”. Students, ages 11, 12 or 13 on 15 November, are eligible to participate. Twenty-four international finalists are selected each year, representing the work of more than 350,000 young participants worldwide. Posters are shared globally via the Internet, the media and exhibits around the world.

In artist-in-residence program, ARCUS Project invites the artists from all over the world through the public selection. ARCUS promotes each artist’s activities by providing with the studio space and financial support. It also gives the artists the opportunities to interact with the local community. Through the exhibitions and arts projects, ARCUS aims to be one of the places which produce the cutting-edge arts. A number of emerging artists and curators get together and experiment various projects. ARCUS also offers the programs which contribute to the vitalization of the local community by connecting the arts and community through workshops, lecture series and volunteer activities.
