Are you a filmmaker looking for a challenge and some extra money? If so, we invite you to participate in the 2010 Database Security Video Smackdown! The goal of the Database Security Video Smackdown is for teams or individuals to create an original 2 minute (or less) film/video in a genre of their choice. Anyone can enter the Database Security Video Smackdown contest. There are no age restrictions and entry is open to amateurs and professionals alike.

ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee invites students to submit their work for The 2010 SpaceTime student competition. The international juried exhibition is open to students who are currently enrolled in school/university, or graduated within the last one year. Interested students can submit up to three works in categories of Prints, Animation and Interactive Works, to be judged by an international panel of jurors. Students in K-12 can submit works in the Prints category. Selected works will be exhibited during the annual SIGGRAPH conference in Los Angeles, CA.

The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication is a nonprofit, educational association of journalism and mass communication educators, students and media professionals.
