The Snowden Photo Competition 2011 is open for entries from amateur photographers. In this competition the photographs that best reflect the competition title “Celebrating the mining industry” are awarded. For the past 5 years, the Snowden Photo Competition has grown to a record over 1,000 submissions received last year. 2011 promises to follow this trend with increased interest last year from not only the photographers, but from the media and industry publications too.
