The Jean-Claude Reynal Foundation, under the auspices of the Foundation of France, in collaboration with the Fine Arts School of Bordeaux, offers an annual grant of 10,000 euros to enable a young artist, who works directly on paper, to travel to a country of his/her choice for a period of 6 months maximum. This opportunity is available to candidates, from any part of the world, between 20 and 30 years of age, with an artistic practice for at least two years. BADGAST is a research based artist in residency at the coast of The Hague/Scheveningen where Satellietgroep invites artistst and scientists to develop and present research that articulates a cultural, innovative and sustainable significance of the sea and its coasts. Artists, designers, (landscape) architects and scientists can apply for a residency period of max 6 weeks in 2012 by sending a resume, earlier works, motivation, proposal for the workperiod and a prefered period. Satellietgroep is based since 2006 in The Hague, The Netherlands, a country with a strong historic art and innovative relationship with the sea.
