Exploration of natural systems from the microscopic to the universal unearths vast design potential for overlaying cultural, ecological, and life cycle flows toward determining new architectonic strategies. The annual d3 Natural Systems competition for 2012 invites architects, designers, engineers, and students to collectively explore the potential of analyzing, documenting, and deploying nature-based influences in architecture, interiors, and designed objects. All architects, landscape architects, interior designers, engineers, and students are invited to participate. Cash prizes will be awarded to three best proposals.
