The 20th Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival, taking place from 7 to 15 of July 2012, announces the call for entries for new short films produced in 2011 or 2012, within the duration limit of 60 minutes, in film (35 or 16 mm) or video. Every year, through a bold program, Curtas Vila do Conde offers a wide selection of innovative films to a public increasingly interested and which lives the week of the Festival with intensivity. You can submit your productions in several competitive sections. In each section, one or more awards will be announced.

Submissions are invited for video narratives of 3 minutes or less to be exhibited at The Pound Arts Centre, as part of the MIX Conference at Corsham Court, Bath Spa University, 16th – 18th July, 2012 in the UK. Interactive and non-interactive non-commercial works can be shown. The exhibition is open to all international videopoets, writers and artists over 18. Participation is free.
