The Hearts 8×10 Photography Biennial is an international competition saluting the next generation of talent, which will play an important role in the future of magazines, media, the web, design and photography. Through this call Hearst Communications is inviting new and emerging photographers from the US and abroad to compete for a part in an exhibition in New York. Award recipients will be chosen on the basis of exceptional talent, strength of portfolio and capacity for future distinction in the field of photography.

The third annual Aruba International Film Festival is gearing up for another exciting year, and as always, the first step on the order of events is to call for entries to the annual AIFF Poster Contest. This year, the poster contest is going global, with entries being accepted from graphic designers irrespective of their country of origin. The winner will receive a round trip ticket to Aruba, hotel accommodations and an All-Access pass to the Film Festival. The creator of the winning design will also enjoy valuable prizes, and have their work featured on the cover of the Festival Magazine. Design the Official Poster for Aruba International Film Festival 2012The main task is to create a computerized graphic design featuring the logo of the Film Festival. Entries will be judged on the basis of originality, design, and how well the Festival logo is integrated into the finished design.
