The Nature Conservancy’s 2012 Digital Photo Contest, 7th in a row, is expiring very soon! The contest is open to all photographers worldwide, at least 18 years of age. Nature Conservancy – a nonprofit organization making a positive impact around the world – is seeking for your best nature photographs, especially images that showcase the wide range of habitats across our planet. The grand-prize winner’s image, selected by the general public, will be printed in the 2014 Nature Conservancy calendar.

The Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) has put its annual Global Design Awards for 2013 on schedule. The 2013 SEGD Global Design Awards will open for registration on 1 October 2012. The SEGD Global Design Awards were established in 1987 to recognize excellence in environmental graphic design. They are the only international design awards focused on communication in the built environment. Winning projects have included complex wayfinding systems, branding and identity work, retail and interior projects, exhibition and experience design, architectural signage programs, and public art installations.
