Photography professionals and amateurs alike are invited to participate in Photo Video West’s World Cup of Photography Photo Contest, benefitting San Diego’s Museum of Photographic Arts. Participants have the option to compete in either the professional or amateur division in nine categories for upwards of $15,000 in cash and prizes. Categories include children, portrait, wedding, wildlife, landscape, still life, and artistic, among others.

Young Package 2013, the international competition in packaging design has recently been announced. The 18th edition is focused on ageing and packaging design for seniors. The Young Package competition is meant for young designers of up to 30 years of age. Since its foundation in 1996, the Competition has achieved an international reputation and a distinctive position among competitions for young designers. Every year, several hundred participants from the whole world send their entries.

Enter the Renaissance Photography Prize 2013 international competition and have your work judged by eminent judges with the chance of winning over £5,000 worth of prizes. 60 selected photographs will be shown in a London exhibition. Photographers can enter single images (categories Expression, Ordinary and In Between) or a series of work in an open category. All funds raised from entry fees are donated to the Lavender Trust to support young women with breast cancer.
