The :output award, the biggest international competition for works of students, is slowly nearing its final deadline for submissions for 2013. Students from all fields of design and architecture can still submit their work and possibly receive an :output award, get published in the :output yearbook, the design magazine form and/or win the :output Grand Prix (3.000 Euro). The :output award is open to student projects from all disciplines of design and architecture. The Call for Entries for the 2013 :output Award Expires on 15th March 2013The :output award is organized by the :output foundation, a non-profit organization based in Amsterdam. With the Award the organizers want to make works and concepts visible from students from different origins and cultures which otherwise would remain unseen. Now in its 16th year, the :output award has become an institution in the international design education community. :output is – unlike many other design awards – a low budget project which aims to cross the gap between the world of academia and the professional public.

The 2013 Spark Design Awards are open for submissions from talented designers and students all over the world in all seven competitions. This internationally renowned design competition recognizes designs – in multiple categories and disciplines – that make the world a better place. This year marks the 7th annual edition of the Spark Awards and yet another encouragement for creating works that “betters the world”.
