The 6th Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival (KLEFF) is now calling for entries from Malaysian and international film makers. This annual festival showcases award-winning environmental films produced and directed by local and international film makers. The Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival is one of the first and biggest environmental film festival in Malaysia. In the last five years, the Festival has reached out to approximately 46,000 Malaysians through its film screenings at selected venues all over the Peninsular. This year, the Festival will be held at Publika from 11-13th October 2013 and the films will be screened for free to the public at the Black Box.

The red dot design award, one of the largest and most recognised professional design competition for design concept and prototypes, has recently opened for entries for 2013. Design studios, companies, universities, research laboratories, inventors, design students and design professionals worldwide are invited to enter this famous competition and compete for recognition and prizes. Identifying good design since 1955, the red dot design award received more than 15,000 applications from 70 countries in 2012 alone. Making the competition one of the biggest and most prestigious design awards worldwide.
