The Jeffrey Leder Gallery has recently extended the submission deadline for Works On Paper NYC II – its second juried exhibition for artworks on paper. The Gallery is calling for submissions from all artists, American and International, who have created work on a paper medium. Working on paper has expanded from preparatory sketches for painting or sculpture to now being respected artwork unto itself. From drawing, painting, printmaking to photography, works on paper is a varied, exciting and versatile medium. Jeffrey Leder Gallery’s Works On Paper NYC II sale exhibition is scheduled for 7 July through 4 August, 2013, in New York City.

The 2014 World Habitat Awards have recently opened for applications for projects that provide practical and innovative solutions to current housing needs and problems. The Awards were established in 1985 by the Building and Social Housing Foundation as part of its contribution to the United Nations International Year of Shelter for the Homeless. Any individual, organization or government who has an innovative and practical solution to housing needs and problems from any country of the world is eligible to enter. Every year an award of £10,000 is presented to each of the two winners at the annual United Nations global celebration of World Habitat Day.
