AfghanMade is hosting a carpet design competition for students and young designers. The competition is part of The Carpet Design Awards at Domotex Hannover 2014 (11-14 January 2014) one of the largest and most influential fair for floor coverings. The 2013 Fenn Young Designers Award (FYDA) competition has been announced and opened for entries. The competition is open to all young creatives from all parts of the world from the ages of 18 to 33. Entries can be made across a very broad spectrum of project types. Buildings, interiors, landscaping, refurbishment, urban projects, fine art, furniture and product designs are all eligible. This year’s topic is: How can the “library” be re-imagined and re-engineered to provide such an environment for the Millennials?
