The 13.14 competition for the 8th Arte Laguna Prize has been opened, featuring 5 cash prizes for a total of 35,000 Euro, 6 art residencies, collaborations with companies and personal gallery exhibitions. The competition is open for artists working in painting, sculpture and installation, photographic art, video art and performance, virtual and digital art. The Arte Laguna Prize is aimed at promoting and enhancing Contemporary Art and is open to all Artists, with no restrictions of age, sex, nationality or any other qualifications. Aside from the main prizes — which are divided into several categories — 110 finalists will have the chance to exhibit on the prestigious stage of Venice Arsenale in March 2014.
