The Lithuanian “Laisvalaikis” leisure magazine is about to get a layout redesign for the first time in 10 years, through its international Out of the Box design contest. Designers around the world are invited to participate with their design proposals and compete for a prize of 2,900 Euro! Laisvalaikis is a weekly magazine about leisure including topics about food, sports, fashion, culture, arts, events, technologies, etc. It is targeting 18-35 years old, lining in big cities and having interest in news about stylish and interesting leisure time. The challenge is to change the old fashioned design and logo into something modern and stylish, both reader-friendly and flexible to adapt for every issue.

The International Call for Entries for the 2014 Revelation Perth Film Festival has recently been opened and the Festival is currently calling for animation, feature, short, documentary, experimental or strange hybrid films completed in 2013. Regarded as one of Australia’s most exciting independent film festivals, the Festival searches for unique, signature-driven works from both emerging and established filmmakers.
