The Type Directors Club (TDC) has recently opened the Call for Entries for its 60th Communication Design competition and 17th Typeface Design competition – one of the most highly-respected and selective competitions of typographic and typeface design from around the world. TDC is once again looking for original print and digital professional or student work produced in 2013, as well as original typefaces designed in 2013. Winning submissions will be displayed in seven exhibitions that travel the globe next year, and will also be published in a beautiful hardbound annual, Typography 35. Entries selected by the jury will receive Certificates of Typographic Excellence.
