In preparation for the upcoming production of August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Fences, McCarter Theatre is sponsoring the Project FENCES: Costume Design Competition. The competition is intended to engage students in an exploration of playwright August Wilson’s masterwork Fences, celebrate the theatrical art of costume design and identify and recognize the American Theater’s next generation of talented costume designers. McCarter Theatre’s Project FENCES: Costume Design Competition is open to any currently enrolled high school or undergraduate student.

Mirage launches “RESTILE” contest in collaboration with ABC Department – Politecnico di Milano with the goal of identifying new creative horizons for the production of ceramic tiles. The contest is addressed to designers and creative minds, giving them the opportunity to express their creativity developing a visionary concept and a new approach for ceramic Tiles. Restile is a new project aimed at finding new interpretations of ceramic products that are no longer dictated by style trends but by alternative approaches that can define a new vision of ceramic tiles.
