A new photography and design competition – Take 5 – has launched on MINI Space with another fantastic batch of prizes up for grabs. The challenge is to create a photo, illustration or design by interpreting the competition theme. To give the New MINI 5-Door a warm welcome, the theme of Take 5 surrounds inventive interpretations of everything 5. A 5-themed entry can take many forms. From fanciful expressions of the 5 senses to the wonders of the 5 natural elements, the number 5 is hidden all over the place in signs, symbols and messages waiting to be discovered.

Artists around the world are invited to apply to Auckland Print Studio’s 5th International Artist-in-Residence program, to collaboratively produce a suite of hand-printed lithographs. Having printmaking experience is not a requirement, thus all artists are welcome to apply. The Residency is scheduled for 8th December 2014 through 18th January 2015 and lasts 5 weeks. Shared accommodation and all printmaking materials are included. Trips to some of New Zealand’s famous west coast beaches are also an integral part of the residency!
