FilmDoo, a new online film discovery platform for international and independent films, has recently launched its first Film Poster Creativity Competition, open to all designers around the world. Entrants are invited to submit their film-inspired piece of artwork or film poster and compete for a paid opportunity to create artwork for an upcoming film release this year. Winners will be announced during Cannes Film Festival in May 2015 and the Top Five posters will be printed and promoted during the festival. The FilmDoo Film Poster Creativity Competition is an excellent opportunity for all designers and film lovers to embrace their talent.

The Young Package 2015 International Competition of Packaging Design has recently opened for entries and young designers are once again invited to submit innovative designs. This year’s theme is “Happy Birthday!”. Young Package is a competition in packaging design. It is meant for young designers of up to 30 years of age. In 2015, more than 2800 Euro will be divided between the three best designs in both competition groups. A three-week internship at the Innovative Centre of the Model Obaly company will also be awarded as a prize. A special prize from the Model Obaly innovation centre will also be awarded.

OSTEN has recently started accepting applications for the 46th World Gallery Of Cartoons Skopje 2015, inviting all cartoonists around the world to submit their best work. This year OSTEN is celebrating 70 years of its establishment! As great art admirer and passionate art collector, through the World Gallery of Cartoons and the World Gallery of Drawing, OSTEN makes room for the artists of the world. The World Gallery Of Cartoons Skopje is a very competitive event and for the 46th edition the Grand Prix for Life Achievement is $5,000! Three (3) more first place awards of $1,000 each, will be awarded for a cartoon, a satirical drawing and a comic/strip. Ten (10) special awards and the Cico Award – for a Macedonian cartoonist – will be announced as well.
