Wikimedia is currently hosting its 2015 Wiki Loves Monuments international photo contest and inviting photographers across more than 30 countries to participate. Wiki Loves Monuments is a photo contest for monuments. It has been created because cultural heritage is an important part of the knowledge Wikipedia collects and disseminates. The main prize this year is a trip to Wikimania – the official annual conference of the Wikimedia Foundation – in Esino Lario, Italy in June 2016, including travel and accommodation.
