The Japan Media Arts Festival Executive Committee organizes the 20th Japan Media Arts Festival and calls for entries which display new forms of expression reflecting our present time. Entries are accepted in four Divisions: Art, Entertainment, Animation and Manga, and works can originate in genres such as: interactive art, media installations, video works, computer graphics, games, multimedia productions, application software, Animated feature films, etc. The festival gives awards in each of its four divisions and also provides a platform for appreciation of the award-winning and other notable works.
