Volume Zero introduces UnBox 2017, a competition that looks at exploring disruptive design ideas using shipping containers that will transform the future of public spaces. The competition invites design solutions that challenge the existing use of containers in an innovative way, promoting sustainability and invention. A total of $4,000 (US) will be awarded to the best three projects, along with certificates and exposure in publications. The 1st Prize winner gets 50% of the total prize fund – $2,000.
