Dow has launched its call for entries for the 2019 Packaging Innovation Awards, continuing the tradition started by DuPont 31 years ago. The 2019 Packaging Innovation Awards honor innovations in packaging design, materials, technology, and processes across the entire packaging value chain. Originated by DuPont, the tradition of excellence is now continued by Dow as brand owners, retailers, packaging designers, converters, and technology providers around the world are welcomed to enter and be recognized. There are three award levels — Silver, Gold and Diamond. Winners are based on “excellence” in one, two or all three categories: technological advancement, responsible packaging and enhanced user experience.

The Future Of Money (FOM) Design Award competition calls for entries for 2019 and invites participation by creatives from all around the world. The 2019 competition is themed: “Design the financial crime of the future“. Creative practitioners are invited to employ a speculative design approach and design a future financial crime. A crime which utilizes a new loophole, a change in social convention or specific technology development. The Grand Prize for 2019 is 3,000 Euro and each shortlisted project will be awarded with 1,000 Euro. The shortlisted entrants will have the opportunity to present their concepts at Money20/20 Europe to an audience of financial experts and industry leaders, where the Grand Prize winner will be chosen.
