Non Architecture is hosting a new design competition called “Spacecraft Design” and invites participants to create a design for a spaceship. The aim of the “Spacecraft Design” competition is to develop one drawing to communicate a conceptual design. The participants are asked to design a vehicle that responds to the requirements of the brief and one axonometric projection to represent it, with absolute freedom of interpretation, technique and level of abstraction. Even the concept of axonometric itself can be questioned in order to craft the most expressive way to represent the design. The best design will be awarded with 1,000 Euro, publication in the Non Architecture Competitions books and website and reviews in digital magazines and several architecture blogs. In addition, honorable mentions and other prizes will be awarded.
