International Awards Associate (IAA) is calling for entries for the 2022 MUSE Creative Awards – an international competition for creative professionals who inspire others to greater heights. With their concepts, ideas or designs, these creatives light a fire in others to strive further, thus becoming a muse. The MUSE Creative Awards accepts entries from advertising, graphic design, web design and video production companies from all over the world. Platinum, Gold and Silver winners will be announced across all competition categories and awarded with a trophy — the 2022 MUSE Awards statuette.

The Trieste Contemporanea Committee announces the 14th edition of the International Design Contest Trieste Contemporanea with the aim of showcasing the most original design offerings from the countries of Central Eastern Europe. The 2021 edition, themed: Basics, aims to reflect on individual contribution we can make to sustainable development. Basic issues of concern are how to effectively change ourselves and increase our responsibility to others and to our planet. Trieste Contemporanea 2021 offers 3 main prizes and a total of 8,000 Euro, of which 4,000 Euro are reserved for the best design.

The TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards 2022 invite all manufacturers, designers, sales representatives, importers and distributors in the bicycle industry to compete in the awards. TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards is annually organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) as well as Taiwan Bicycle Association (TBA). This year, the competition will be implemented by Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center (CHC). It is hoped that with the influence of TAITRA and TBA, more connections with the bicycle industry can be strengthened via CHC with its dedication to the bicycle industry for a long time as well as the experience of organizing the International Bicycle Design Competition (IBDC) for twenty-four years. To take a step further, more innovative and creative entries can be submitted to this competition, and compete with other entries from countries all over the world.

This international art contest was created to get students and teachers interested in ocean conservation through various forms of art. The theme for 2022 is: “Ridge to Reef“. The Science Without Borders Challenge is an international art contest open to primary and secondary school students 11-19 years old, with scholarships of up to $500 awarded to the winning entries.

The Ecuador Poster Bienal (EPB) is calling for posters, for its competition for 2022 and accepts designs from all parts of the world. Design students, graphic designers, architecture, artists, photographers and visual communicators in general can participate, regardless of age or nationality, with posters printed between 1st January 2020 and 31 May 2022. Gold, Silver, Bronze and commendations be awarded in each category.

The Locarno Film Festival is hosting an international poster competition to select the official poster for its 75th edition. Every year, the Locarno Film Festival unveils a selection of the best global independent and experimental productions and hosts innovative outlooks and projects, to create previously unseen images together, freely. To strengthen this dialogue, this year the Festival has decided to invite international graphic designers, artists and creators to come up with the poster for the 75th edition, scheduled for 3–13 August, 2022, in Locarno, Switzerland. The winner, in addition to receiving a cash prize of 5,000 Swiss francs, will see their idea and work at the core of Locarno75.
