FuturArc Prize 2024: Architecture for Life After asks entrants to propose architectural solutions for the continuation of life after Climate Disasters and/or Endings scenarios. Akademie Schloss Solitude is happy to announce the start of the call for applications for its international and transdisciplinary artist-in-residence-program for 2024 to 2026. This wide-ranging fellowship program promotes the interrelationship of art and science across all disciplines and fields of practice. Its unique model affords artists and scientists valuable freedom to develop their work and perform research in both a physical and digital context. Residencies at Akademie Schloss Solitude enable fellows to devote themselves to their research projects under favorable material and intellectual conditions. For the 19th time, around 65 residencies of six to twelve months will be awarded.

The Stanford Center on Longevity invites university students from around the world to compete to win the grand prize of $10,000 USD in the 2023-2024 Longevity Design Challenge: “Designing for Life Transitions“. Students are invited to create solutions that help make life transitions more meaningful or healthy. As it becomes increasingly common to live for 100 years, the traditional life course will become more complex and flexible. People may take time off at different points in their work lives to focus on family or personal development; they might return to school more than once, and they are likely to change careers several times; they may retire, only to re-enter the workforce in an entirely new capacity. The 2024 Stanford Center on Longevity Design Challenge invites student designers to help develop a new vision for how to move through these new life transitions.

The 14th ICMA – International Creative Media Award is open for creative ideas and designs from all parts of the world. The competition aims to show the whole range of modern graphic design.
