The 39th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition (CIFAC) is an exciting opportunity to show new and innovative work while gaining exposure to an extensive international audience. The competition is open to visual artists from around the world. All entrants must be at least 18 years of age. A distinguished panel of jurors will be awarding more than $70,000 in valuable prizes and the awarded works will be exhibited. Art submitted to the competition will be reviewed by a rotating panel of expert jurors, each representing a different field in the art world, ensuring a fair and balanced selection process.

Embracing Our Differences invites you to participate in the 2026 Exhibition Competition and in creating a world where differences are embraced and individuality is celebrated. Artists, photographers, professionals, amateurs, students are all invited to submit their interpretation of the theme “enriching lives through diversity”. The 33rd Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival is calling for new short films (produced in 2024 or to be produced in 2025) up to 60 minutes in length. Eligible for submission are animations, documentaries, fiction films, experimental films and music videos, in film (16mm and 35mm) or digital (DCP or video files). The Festival is very competitive and each year awards are announced in thirteen (13) categories, five (5) of which are international.

The UIA-HYP Cup is the sole UIA sponsored international student competition held annually on mainland China. The competition is reflecting on the issues existing in the process of urban-rural and architectural evolution, and responding to the era we live in. The competition theme for 2024 is: Spatial Restructuring: Reestablishing Urban Density. Three main prizes consisting of 250,000 RMB (almost $35,000) and certificates will be awarded to the best works.

Warming Huts: An Art + Architecture Competition on Ice, is open for entries for 2025 to participants from all over the world. The competition is open to all architects, students of architecture, landscape architects, interior designers, artists and industrial designers who have a proven portfolio of design work. It is intended to foster and encourage the formation of multi-disciplinary teams. Three teams will be selected as winners of the Warming Huts Competition: Arts + Architecture Competition on Ice from submissions of designs for a warming hut or art installation. Winning entries will be placed along the Nestaweya River Trail located on the Assiniboine and Red rivers in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A jury will select the winning designs based on their creativity in use of materials, providing shelter, poetics of assembly and form, integration with the landscape, and ease of construction.

The Industrial Design Centre (IDC) of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is currently accepting entries for the Typography Day 2025 Poster Design Competition. The Competition is themed: Typography and Storytelling, thus open for poster designs that represent the theme. Winning entries will be published as a book and displayed in an exhibition during the Typography Day 2025 event – scheduled for 7th–8th March, 2025. The winners are entitled to free participation during the ‘Typography Seminar and Workshop’.
