2025 Gyeongsangbuk-do International AI·Metaverse Video Contest

The 2025 Gyeongsangbuk-do International AI·Metaverse Video Contest is a global video contest showing unique content created with generative AI from around the world is being held.

This unique global competition invites creators from around the world to submit innovative short videos that utilize AI, virtual reality, and metaverse technologies. The organizer’s goal is to foster international collaboration and showcase creative storytelling in the era of digital transformation.

A total of 30 outstanding works will be selected across five categories and winners will receive both prize money and global promotion opportunities. 100,000,000 KRW ($73,000+) will be awarded prizes!

First Prize winners will have the opportunity to promote their work at overseas video festivals partnered with the Gyeongsangbuk-do International AI·Metaverse Video Festival.

The contest is open to anyone interested in creating content using AI, both in South Korea and internationally. It is possible to participate individually or in teams (maximum 5 members per team).

All submitted works must be created with the use of AI generation tools. Participants must provide documentation explaining the tools and methods used.

Please note that works that have already won other contests or plagiarize existing works will be disqualified.

Works will be judged on Creativity & Innovation (25%), Technical Excellence (25%), Relevance to the Theme (25%), Emotional Impact & Engagement (25%).
