The Philo-Photo Contest invites all photographers aged 18 and over to submit their most striking single images that reflect this year’s theme, From Darkness to Light. This year’s theme invites photographers to delve into the transformative power of light and its ability to reshape how we experience the world. Light reveals what was once hidden, uncovering truths obscured by darkness and bridging the gap between perception and reality. Beyond the physical, this theme also reflects an inner journey—a movement from ignorance to self-awareness, from confusion to clarity. Explore the profound interplay between shadow and illumination through your lens and capture moments that spark reflection, inspiration, and wonder. There will be three winners in the competition, a first winner, a second winner and a third winner. The first prize will be $1,000, the second prize $500, and the third prize $200.
