This juried competition celebrates the best use of typography as the primary visual element in design and advertising, plus new typeface designs, calligraphy and hand lettering. Any typographic project first published or produced from September 2024 through September 2025 is eligible. Chosen by a jury of leading design professionals, the selected entries will be distributed worldwide in the Communication Arts Typography Annual, in print and digital editions, and on commarts.com, assuring important exposure to the creators of this outstanding work

Seoul Design Foundation is looking forward to welcoming many participants to Seoul Design Award 2025, which celebrates and supports designers with creative solutions for a better daily life. Eligible for entry are design projects in all fields realized within 5 years by designers, groups and enterprises who contributed to a more sustainable and harmonious future between people, society and the environment. The 44th Uppsala Short Film Festival is calling for short films of all genres with a running time of no more than 40 minutes. Uppsala Short Film Festival is recognized by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which means that winning the international or national competition at the festival may qualify a film for Oscar consideration. The festival is also recognized by the European Film Academy and BAFTA. Screening at the festival qualifies Swedish short films for Guldbagge nominations. Films are submitted to either of the three competitive sections, awarding prize money amounting to more than 20,000 Euro.
