Open to local, national and international artists, The Print Center is particularly interested in highlighting the use of photography and/or printmaking in new and intriguing ways, including in content, form and process. A wide variety of exhibition, museum acquisition, cash and material prizes are provided by supporters of the ANNUAL to be awarded to Semifinalists and Finalists. The call for entries for the 8th edition of the Design Educates Awards – the awards for design and architecture with social impact – is now open. The Awards invite architects, designers, studios, students, and creative practitioners from around the world to submit projects that go beyond aesthetic excellence. The 8th edition will recognize works in two categories: Architecture and Design for Impact – projects that demonstrate meaningful social, environmental, cultural, or educational value. The awards ceremony will take place during the Architecture in Foyer 2026 conference in Warsaw in October 2026. The event will be hosted by the Warsaw University of Technology and will form part of a two-day international conference featuring lectures and discussions led by renowned architects, designers, and innovators from around the world.

The International Uranium Film Festival invites filmmakers worldwide to submit their best work for the 2027 edition. The festival accepts productions exploring the complex themes of nuclear power, radioactivity, and the use of radioactive elements, including uranium. From Hiroshima to Fukushima: nuclear war and atomic bomb tests, nuclear disasters like Three Mile Island, Chernobyl or Fukushima, uranium mining, the use of depleted uranium weapons, nuclear waste, radioactive contamination, nuclear medicine, films about nuclear scientists like Marie Curie, Enrico Fermi, Otto Hahn or Albert Einstein. The festival is competitive. The best films receive the Uranium Film Festival trophy.

The Rotary Club Nuenen is calling for entries to the Vincent van Gogh Photo Award 2027, on the theme, ‘Spirit of light’ (in the eyes of van Gogh). The Vincent van Gogh Photo Award brings together (amateur and professional) photographers from every corner of the globe. The best three works in each of the competition categories (Vincent van Gogh Photo Award and Student Award) will be awarded with monetary prizes.
