The 2026 IIDA Global Excellence Awards have been announced. 2026 commemorates the 17th annual design competition. The IIDA Global Excellence Awards honor excellence in originality and creativity in international interior design and interior architecture projects across 19 categories. Winners will be celebrated with an awards ceremony in Paris, France in February 2027. Winners will also be featured on IIDA.org and across IIDA’s social media platforms, receive official digital assets, including competition winner logos for self-promotion, and coverage in an official press release distributed to leading industry outlets and media partners.

The 24th edition of ADC Young Guns is open for entries. Founded by the Art Directors Club in 1996 as a showcase of emerging creative talent, ADC Young Guns is a portfolio-based competition for creative professionals 30 years of age or under, and has grown to become one of the most coveted accolades in the global creative community. Winning an ADC Young Guns award is a recognition of emerging creative talent. Winners join the ADC Young Guns alumni community and are celebrated at the ADC Young Guns 24 Celebration in January 2027, at Sony Hall in New York City.

As part of the 23rd Treviso Comic Book Festival edition (TCBF 2026), the Fumetti in Treviso association announces the International Contest for New Comic Authors 2026, created in collaboration with Banca Prealpi San Biagio Credito Cooperativo. The competition is open for entries and invites beginner comic authors of legal age to test their skills and create a comic story based on this year’s theme – Relationships. Three main prizes will be awarded as part of the 2026 competition. 500 Euro are reserved for the First prize, 300 Euro for the Second prize, and 200 Euro for the Third prize.

For more than 50 years, the Pencil has stood as one of the most respected honors in advertising and design, and the programme’s disciplines span the full spectrum of creativity, from print and film to gaming, the creative use of AI, and Creator Content. Entries open on 27 October 2026, with winners celebrated during Creative Week in New York City in May 2027.

The 41st Chelsea International Fine Art Competition (CIFAC) is has been announced. CIFAC is an exciting opportunity to show new and innovative work while gaining exposure to an extensive international audience. The Competition is open to visual artists from around the world at any stage of their career working in painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, mixed media, and print. Submissions are now open for the 6th edition of the BCN-DH Photography Contest, the Barcelona International Photography Festival on Human Rights and Global Justice. The Más Retina Association is launching this initiative aimed at finding, recognizing and promoting the best photographic projects on human rights and global justice. The ten projects selected by the jury will be exhibited from 1 December 2026 to 10 January 2027 during the festival in the streets of Barcelona and will be part of the catalog of the 2026 edition. The best of the ten projects will receive a prize of 3,000 Euro.
