The AAFF offers approximately $20,000 in both cash and in-kind awards each year, and is open to film and video submissions that demonstrate a high regard for the moving image as an art form, no matter the genre.

The Ann Arbor Film Festival is opening the call for entries for its 56th event in July and invites filmmakers to enter their best work. Internationally recognized as a premiere forum for independent filmmakers, each year’s festival engages audiences with remarkable cinematic experiences. The six-day festival presents 40 programs with more than 180 films from over 20 countries of all lengths and genres, including experimental, animation, documentary, etc. The AAFF offers approximately $21,000 in cash and in-kind awards each year.
