Belfast Photo Festival is calling for submissions for 2024. Individuals and collectives are welcome to apply. Belfast Photo Festival is a not-for-profit organization that presents one of the leading International Festivals of photography in the United Kingdom and the Visual Arts Festival of Northern Ireland. The Festival provides the perfect platform for gaining exposure to an international audience, with previous editions having welcomed over 150,000 visitors from all over the world.

The International Belfast Photo Festival 2023 is open for submissions to all photographers, artists, curators, archives, collectives from anywhere in the world. The theme for the 2023 Open Submission has been left open, therefore removing any restrictions in regards to theme, concept or approach of a photographer’s/artist’s work. The main award for 2023, the Spotlight Award, is £2,000. In addition the Aesthetica Editorial Award and Abridged Editorial Award will also be awarded. The best works will also be exhibited at the 2024 Photo Schweiz (Zurich, Switzerland).
