The 2nd edition of Screen and Sound Fest – Let’s See The Music – an international project in the form of an open competition for creating film visualizations of distinguished Polish composers’ musical works – is about to start. Filmmakers both professional and amateur can now register and download the compositions for the 2014 competition. A total of 40,000 Polish złoty (13,000 US dollars) is available in cash prizes! Screen & Sound Fest is a platform integrating artists’ visual imagination with the world of symphonic music. This edition of the Festival presents filmmakers with a new challenge. The music which you can choose to base your films on is mainly represented by composers long associated with the cinematic medium. Some of the musicians invited to take part – after reading the rules of the contest – even decided which of their pieces were to be included in the project.
