The Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in the design and installation of ceramic tile and stone in residential, institutional, and commercial projects. Projects are judged on their levels of creativity, craftsmanship, and outstanding use of materials in the use of ceramic tile or stone within the project categories. Of particular interest are projects that demonstrate an original or unusual use of materials, incorporate innovative technology, reflect installation excellence or successfully combine aesthetics with function in unique and interesting ways.

The Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards, which recognize outstanding design and installation in residential and commercial tile and stone projects, are open for entries for 2019. Submission categories include international tile design, international stone design, tile installation, tile design, stone installation and stone design. A grand prize of $3,000 will be awarded to the most outstanding project, which showcases excellence in both design and installation. Eight category winners will each receive a prize of $2,000. All winners will receive a one-night stay in Orlando to attend Coverings 2019 and will have their work featured on display at the show.

The Coverings Installation and Design (CID) Awards are currently open for entries in the 2017 global competition. The CID Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in the design and installation of tile and stone in both residential and commercial projects. Prize-winning project teams, including each installer and designer, will receive $2,500 and a one-night stay in Orlando.

The CID (Coverings Installation and Design) Awards are open for submissions for 2016, to once again celebrate outstanding achievements in the design and installation of tile and stone in both residential and commercial projects. Projects must have been completed within the past two (2) years (January 2014 – December 2015). Firms must be from North America – firms outside North America are eligible for awards in the international category. Multiple entries are accepted and encouraged. More than $20,000 are available in cash prizes!

Coverings, the premier international trade fair and expo dedicated to ceramic tile and natural stone, is currently hosting the 2015 Installation and Design (CID) Awards competition and accepting new project submissions. The CID Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in the design and installation of tile and stone in residential and commercial projects. Submissions are open to architects, designers, builders, contractors, distributors, retailers, installers and other professionals who demonstrate design and/or installation excellence in residential and commercial projects, giving special recognition to stunning stone and tile.
