The Young Package 2016 International Competition of Packaging Design — themed: “Package Unlimited!” — has opened registration and invites students and young designers no older than 30 to take part. The organizers are looking for imaginative, multi-functional and detailed packages that can be used for several purposes. The challenge is to create innovative packages and show how packaging doesn’t have to end up in the trash. Think of a package that blooms after use, a special pencil case, or a package that becomes part of the product after opening. The best three designs in each of the two competition categories will be awarded with prize money. There are a total of almost 3,000 Euro available and this year, a special three week internship prize will also be awarded.

The Young Package 2015 International Competition of Packaging Design has recently opened for entries and young designers are once again invited to submit innovative designs. This year’s theme is “Happy Birthday!”. Young Package is a competition in packaging design. It is meant for young designers of up to 30 years of age. In 2015, more than 2800 Euro will be divided between the three best designs in both competition groups. A three-week internship at the Innovative Centre of the Model Obaly company will also be awarded as a prize. A special prize from the Model Obaly innovation centre will also be awarded.

Now in its 19th year the Young Package packaging design competition has opened the registration for 2014. Held annually, the competition is open to young designers of up to 30 years of age. The main prize of Young Package 2014 is 1100 Euro. There are several other prizes from the competition partners and a special one, awarded by Slovak Design Centre.
