The award offers visibility, expert feedback for sustainable products or services at any stage of their market presence and access to an international network of changemakers. The Green Future Club is calling for entries to the Green Concept Award 2026, themed “Design the Future. Qualify. Be Seen.“. The Award recognizes and supports the next generation of sustainable founders who want to make a contribution to climate change with their concepts. The award is aimed at young designers, start-ups and established companies. The Green Concept Award, in cooperation with the IKEA Stiftung, honours students and young designers in particular for visionary concepts, supports them with the Green Cells program, shows them at exhibitions and supports them in their further development.

The Green Product Awards 2025 are calling on companies and start-ups to submit their sustainable products and services under the motto “Green Olympics”. Companies and start-ups are invited to submit to the international Green Product Awards in one of 14 categories. The awards have been presented since 2013 and reach 7 million people every year. For the first time, submissions will be initially checked with regard to the regulations of the Green New Deal (e.g. Green Claims Directive, Ecodesign Directive). A report provides participants with information on the conformity of their project with future directives and necessary measures. The report also contains optimization tips for the submissions.

For more than 10 years, the international Green Product Awards have been honoring products from companies and start-ups that stand out for their sustainability, design and impact. Once a year, companies and start-ups have the chance to get feedback on their products and services, and for nominees and winners, the award also offers numerous advantages to distinguish themselves from their competitors in the market. The Green Product Awards are presented in multiple categories. Within each category, the best product of a brand, a start-up and the best concept are awarded.

The Green Concept Award is aimed at students, start-ups and established companies, honoring concepts of sustainable materials, products and services that are not yet on the market. Through the cooperation with the IKEA Stiftung, students & graduates are supported by free participation, interim feedback, communication assistance & matchmaking. Young designers are introduced to Green Future Club’s 8-step toolkit on sustainable product and service development and are guided through creating successful green business models during frequent workshops and Q&A sessions. Outstanding student nominees will be given the opportunity to exhibit free of charge throughout the year on various German and international trade fairs and have one-on-one guidance on how to bring their solutions to the market and get acquainted with green entrepreneurs within our network.

The international Green Product and Concept Award is calling for submissions for 2021. The award is on the lookout for sustainable products, services and concepts from established companies, start-ups and students in 11 categories. Why doesn’t my house grow with me? Can I turn my bed into a desk? What do I actually wear in home office? Which new material really makes my product sustainable? For this purpose, the organizers are looking for concepts as well as existing solutions that make a sustainable lifestyle a reality.
