Industria Espansi Sinterizzati (IES) announces its first ideas competition for product designers called IES European Design Award 2015, to promote and encourage creative expression and innovation in Micro and Macro Design. The focus is on the Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) and Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) materials and the intention is to create creative products based on these materials. The winner of the competition will receive a prize of 10,000 Euro and will have the opportunity to implement the created product in the Style Department and laboratories of the Milan-based company IES. The second prize, awarded to the Best Project Under 25, is a trip to a European City of Design.
